Invoicery Danmark met with Erik in Copenhagen in July 2021.

Erik is one of our employees, who works as a rider for Velove. Velove is one of the business partners that Invoicery handles HR services for.

Velove delivers parcels to households by bike cars and they have currently delivery communities in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gothenburg.

1.      How long have you been working as a rider for Velove?

Since February 2021. I was one of the first riders who joined Velove. I try to do as many shifts as I can. In the beginning it was 1-2 per week. Now it is often 4-5 times per week.

2.      What do you especially like about the job?

I like that I can stay busy during the weekdays to have weekends free. I also enjoy that in this job, I can combine to get exercise and work.

3.      How does the job fit into your current living situation?

It is good for me, as I can combine it with the studies. I study marketing managing at CBS Business.

4.      What did you learn about Copenhagen that you did not know before by working as a rider for Velove?

I explore new parts of the city that I did not know before. For example I discovered an area in Vesterbro, a small park, where people often hang out on a Friday night.

5.      Which is the funniest comment that you got from people on a cycle path while riding the Velove-car?

People are curious about the bike, they mostly ask e.g. if it is fun to ride it.
